Touchups are considered when the initial semi-permanent makeup is still visible and does not require major re-mapping & colour implantation. Existing Clients Only. At Eva Mercedes we do NOT do colour boosts for clients who did not get their initial permanent makeup from us. All clients with existing permanent makeup need to book in for a 15 minute consultation prior to making an appointment. ***However, our advice is to allow your lips to fully fade before returning, then booking another first-timer session.

How to make sure your results last
Before each treatment, the skin should not be burnt, nor in recovery or regeneration process.
The following treatments are not recommended 30 days before the treatment:
• Fillers
• Fruit or lactic acids
• Laser treatments
• Chemical peel
• Exposure to strong sunlight.
During the first day gently, without rubbing, cleanse your lips with luke warm water every 30-60 minutes. Remove lymph from your lips to prevent creation of big scabs. Having removed the lymph, apply the recommended cream on your lips. This cream can be applied any time when the client feels tightening of the lips in the following 7 days.
During the first 7 days avoid saunas, swimming pools, makeup on the lips area, sun tanning & cosmetic treatments. If necessary, correction can be done 4 weeks later, when the lips are fully regenerated. The disappeared pigment is added on this occasion. Lip refreshment can be done once a year if a client wants a more intense colour.
In order to preserve the colour for as long as possible, use SPF on the area when sun tanning.
First 7 Days Avoid:

- Gym
- If you have facial treatments, protect your lips with cotton pads.

It is recommended that you get muscle relaxants no less than 21 days BEFORE or AFTER tattooing your lips.
Your lips will be completely healed after 4 weeks.
You only need to wait for 7 days after your appointment before getting them wet or sweaty!
Yes of course, you can wear face makeup straight away if your avoiding the lip area. We prefer if you do not wear lip makeup for at least 7-10 days after your appointment whilst it is an open wound.
Your initial appointment takes 2.5 hours & generally your touch-up will only take 1.5 hours depending on the healed result from your initial appointment.
Yes! You can chose how natural or bold you want the end result but we can definetely make it look like a very natural enhancement.
Yes, we can fix this with non-laser tattoo removal. We do not recommend tattooing over the top of your current “bad” lip tattoo.
Lip tattoo lasts 3-5 years before needing a colour boost. Each client result varies depending on how quickly the skin metabolises the pigment.

You can expect your lips to be slightly swollen for 1-2 days, especially if you are very sensitive.
You may experience some itchiness, dryness or redness; this should subside within 7-10 days.

Please also:
- Do not drink alcohol for 2 days before the treatment
- Waxing or threading must be done at least 2-3 days before the treatment.
- Do not take aspirin, niacin, vitamin E, fish oils or Ibuprofen for at least 48 hours before the treatment.
- Please note if you are expecting or currently on your menstrual cycle, you will feel more sensitive
Yes! Lip tattooing at Eva Mercedes Cosmetic Studio is semi-permanent. Colour retention will vary person to person, depending on how fast the skin metabolises. We recommend our clients to come back to have it redone once it has completely faded.
