All clients must attend a consultation to find out what technique is suited best before booking in the full treatment. All treatments include one 4-8 week touchup & aftercare pack.

Eyeliner Tattooing Sydney

INVISIBLE LINER

A thin line that is blended seamlessly into the lashes to enhance the natural lash line. This technique helps your lash line appear fuller. Suitable for those who are wanting a soft natural look. Colours available: Brown, Black-Brown, Black

DESIGNER LINER

A subtle winged liner that enhances the natural eye shape. This technique is great for those needing an instant lift. Best suited for those who enjoy wearing subtle winged eyeliner daily. Colours available: Brown, Black-Brown, Black

STARDUST LINER

Stardust liner is a smokey yet lightly powdered look. This technique is great for mimicking your everyday smokey liner. This is done with a mix of 2 colours to define and enhance the lash line. Can be done with or without a wing. Colours available: Brown, Black-Brown, Black, Emerald, Blue

Touchup fee is considered when the initial semi-permanent makeup is still visible and does not require major re-mapping & colour implantation. Existing Clients Only. At Eva Mercedes we do NOT do colour boosts for clients who did not get their initial permanent makeup from us. All clients with existing permanent makeup need to book in for a 15 minute consultation prior to making an appointment.

PREPARATION

Before each treatment, the skin should not be burnt, nor in recovery or regeneration process.
The following treatments are not recommended 30 days before the treatment:
• Muscle relaxers
• Fruit or lactic acids
• Laser treatments
• Chemical peel
• Exposure to strong sunlight.

How to make sure your results last

What is to be avoided during the first 7 days:

During the first 7 days, avoid all creams and makeup in the eye area.

Avoid exercises that cause excessive sweating, sauna, facial massage and inhalation.

Do not saturate your eyebrows for the first 7 days. The eyes must not get wet while washing the face or having a shower.

What would you like to know?
What is the healing process like?

You may experience some of the following;

  • Scabbing, if this happens do not pick the scab! It will naturally fall of on its own
  • Itchiness, itchiness indicates the healing process is well on its way! Try not to touch your eyes when you feel this sensation
  • Redness, this will subside within the first few days
Can I get muscle relaxants before or after tattooing my eyeliner?

It is recommended that you get muscle relaxants no less than 21 days BEFORE or AFTER tattooing your eyeliner.

How long does my eyeliner take to heal after tattooing?

Your eyeliner will be completed healed after 4 weeks.

Can I play sport or swim after getting my eyeliner tattooed?

You only need to wait for 7 days after your appointment before getting them wet or sweaty!

Can I wear makeup after I get my eyeliner tattooed?

Yes of course, you can wear face makeup straight away if your avoiding the eye area. We prefer if you do not wear eye makeup for at least 7 days after your appointment whilst it is an open wound.

How long does it take to get my eyeliner tattooed?

Your initial appointment takes 2 hours & generally your touch-up will only take 1.5 hours depending on the healed result from your initial appointment.

Will my eyeliner look natural if I get it tattooed?

Yes! Whether you choose invisible, designer or stardust we will always make it look like a natural enhancement.

Can my badly tattooed eyeliner be fixed?

Yes, we can fix this with non-laser tattoo removal. We do not recommend tattooing over the top of your current “bad” eyeliner tattoo.

How long does eyeliner tattoo last?

Eyeliner tattoo lasts 2-5 years before needing a colour boost. Each client result varies depending on how quickly the skin metabolises the pigment.

Please book in a consultation if you have any of the below conditions as this may affect your treatment;

 

  • Diabetes Type 1 or 2 – Is your condition being managed? Your healing may be impaired and/or effect the healed outcome. GP Approval letter required.
  • High or low blood pressure – You may feel slightly dizzy, please note your treatment will take a total of 2 hours per session.
  • Blood clotting issues
  • Hepatitis (A,B or C)

What to expect when getting your eyeliner tattooed?

You can expect your eyelids to be slightly swollen, especially if you are very sensitive.

You may experience some itchiness or redness; this should subside within 7 days.

What should you not do before getting tattooed eyeliner?

Before each treatment, the skin should not be burnt, nor in recovery or regeneration process.

The following treatments are not recommended 30 days before the treatment:

  • Cosmetic muscle relaxers and fillers
  • fruit or lactic acids
  • laser treatments
  • chemical peel
  • exposure to strong sunlight
  • Do not drink alcohol for 2 days before the treatment
  • Do not take aspirin, vitamin E, fish oils or Ibuprofen for at least 48 hours before the treatment.
  • Please note if you are expecting or currently in your menstrual cycle, you will feel more sensitive
Does eyeliner tattooing fade?

Yes! Eyeliner tattooing at Eva Mercedes Cosmetic Studio is semi-permanent. Colour retention will vary person to person and change depending on the technique you are best suited to.

Can you shower after you get your eyeliner tattooed?

Yes, as long as your eyes don’t get wet!
