How to – At Home Footlogix Pedicure

One of the most neglected part of the body is our feet. We walk around on them all day, bash them against the corner of the door and squish them into uncomfortable heels (or maybe that’s just me). I moisturise my face every morning and evening, exfoliate twice a week and pop a face mask on every Sunday, but when it comes to my feet, I get super lazy. I love an in salon pedicure but I don’t always have the time, or I forget to book and there’s no slots left.

A great alternative is an at home DIY pedicure. With our Footlogix range, you can get that salon finish at home! Footlogix is the worlds first and only Pediceutical foot care range, giving you proven transformational results. So, pop your fave Netflix show on, get comfy and give your feet the TLC they deserve.

For this at home pedicure you will need:

Footlogix At Home Pedicure Kit – This includes a complimentary CND Solar Oil!

Massage cream (our favourite is the Footlogix Massage Formula because it’s non-greasy and absorbs really well)

Nail polishes if you like

Nail clippers and a file

A bowl to soak your feet in

Simply, follow the steps below & watch our how to video here!

Step 1 – grab your foot bowl and squirt a 10 cents sized dollop of Footlogix Foot Soak into it, then fill with warm water. This can be just an old washing-up bowl or if you’ve got an at home foot spa – amazing! The anti-microbial footlogix soak is pH balanced, so doesn’t dehydrate the skin unlike many other salt based soaks.

Step 2 – sit back and relax while your feet soak for 10 minutes (up to 5 mins if diabetic). Pop on some music or your fave TV show and maybe grab a tea or wine and a snack.

Step 3 – give your Footlogix Exfoliating Seaweed Scrub a good shake, then squeeze another 10 cents piece into your palm. Warm it up a little between your hands and apply to one foot, working in circular scrubbing motions, focusing on any particularly dry areas. Give your foot a rinse in the water and repeat on the other one. Our scrub contains polished pumice and organic micro algae, to gently exfoliate the skin without being abrasive. This products doubles up as a foot mask too! Simply apply to dry skin after filing, wrap up in plastic wrap and a towel, leave on for 10 and then rinse off.

Step 4 – take your stainless steel Footlogix At Home Foot File and sand away! Use a back and forth motion, paying attention to built up hard skin – usually the heels, big toe and balls of the feet.

Step 5 – give your feet a final rinse in the water and dry them thoroughly. Don’t forget in between the toes!

Step 6 – grab your chosen Footlogix Moisturising Mousse, shake it like your life depends on it, and apply a capful to both feet, again focusing on the dry areas. The Footlogix mousses are formulated with Dermal Infusion Technology, each designed with a specific purpose. They are ultra lightweight, absorbed immediately and extremely hydrating.

Step 7 – clip and file your nails down, a soft square shape is usually recommended.

Step 8 – pass your Footlogix Massage Formula to your partner, Mum or roommate. Tell them to pop 2 pumps into their hands, spread over your foot and lower leg and massage all your worries away. If you can’t find a willing participant, no worries, you can massage your own feet! A good foot massage can help to alleviate stress and reduce aches and tension. In reflexology, different parts of the foot link so different areas of the body so pressure points and massage can actually help the rest of the body too!

Step 9 – lastly, either paint your toes with base, colour and top or take your CND Solar Oil and apply a drop to your cuticles, massaging each one in as you go.

And voila! Beautifully hydrated feet!
